Sleep Studies, Campbelltown

Snoring, waking tired or told you stop breathing at night? A Level 2 sleep study can tell you if obstructive sleep apnoea is putting pressure on your heart. We fit it in our clinic, and you sleep in your own bed.

How Your Sleep Affects Your Heart

Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) is more than a snoring problem. Each time your airway closes during sleep, your oxygen levels drop and your heart has to work harder. Over time, untreated OSA is linked to high blood pressure, atrial fibrillation and other heart rhythm problems.

As a cardiology and heart rhythm practice, we see this link every day. Testing for sleep apnoea is often an important part of understanding and managing your heart health.

Nasal pressure

measures your breathing

Blood oxygen (oximetry)
shows drops in oxygen levels
Heart rate and ECG

shows whether position affects your breathing
