What to Bring

What to Expect

When you arrive, our reception team will confirm your details and referral.

You’ll meet Dr Tuan Le Nguyen, who will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms and may recommend further tests such as an ECG or echocardiogram.

We’ll take time to explain your condition and the next steps so you feel fully informed and supported.

We Care About You

Ongoing Monitoring for Your Heart Health

Your care doesn’t end after your first visit.

For patients with heart rhythm disorders or implanted devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators, regular follow-up is essential to ensure everything is working safely.

We provide ongoing check-ups – often every 6 to 12 months – to monitor your progress, review medications and check device function and battery life.

This ongoing care helps us detect any changes early and keep your treatment on track.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral letter?

Yes. A valid referral from your GP or another specialist is required to book an appointment.

A referral ensures we have your full medical history and allows you to claim a Medicare rebate for your consultation.

Please bring your referral letter, Medicare card, private health insurance details (if relevant), a list of current medications (including dosages), and any recent test results or imaging such as ECG, echocardiograms or blood tests.

Bringing all relevant information helps us provide the best possible care.

We are a private specialist practice. Fees vary depending on the type of consultation or test.

Our team will explain all costs at the time of booking, and most consultations and diagnostic tests are eligible for a Medicare rebate.

Private health insurance is not needed for standard clinic consultations and tests.
It may be required if you need a procedure in hospital (e.g. ablation or device implantation).

We can guide you through what is covered and what to expect before your procedure.

Preparation depends on the test. For most routine tests (such as ECG, echocardiogram or device checks), no special preparation is required.

For an exercise stress test or stress echocardiogram, wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, and follow any fasting or medication instructions provided when you book.

The frequency of follow-up depends on your condition and treatment plan.

Patients with heart rhythm disorders or implanted devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators usually require check-ups every 6–12 months to monitor progress, adjust settings and check battery life.

Street parking in close proximity to Campbelltown private hospital is available up to 3 hours free.

We understand that plans can change.
